Lantana Sellowiana or Montevidensis is one of the most popular plants among people .

Everyone knows it and its colors : toothed green leaves and yellow , violet or white flowers.

The plant is native to tropical areas of South America so very suitable to Mediterranean areas . It is an evergreen bush can reach 30 cm of height and 1 mt of diameter.

Lantana sellowiana blooms from Spring to late Summer , creating cascades of flowers if cultivated in pot.

It is an hardy plant so it has a medium resistance in winter as well as a medium resistance to salinity and dryness.

Lantana sellowiana prefers a sunny exposure and a well drained soil. It is better to give abundant water in Summer but be careful to avoid water stagnation.
